The current taxable annual stipend is $24,418.00 (subject to change i.e. increase). Medical insurance is available for purchase through payroll deduction. Interns are granted up to 22 days (combined) of vacation, sick, conference leave and paid holidays. In addition to the title of Intern in Psychology at Boston Medical Center, trainees are granted the status of Psychology/Psychiatry Fellows in Psychiatry at the Boston University School of Medicine. The latter appointment entitles Interns to discounts on books, other merchandise and entertainment and enables Interns to use the medical school's computer resource center, Boston University libraries (including the medical school library), Boston University recreation and sports facilities. CMTP, through the Division of Psychiatry, provides malpractice insurance coverage for Interns.
