CMTP is a 12-month full-time Psychology Internship training program. Each class starts September 1 and ends August 31 of the following year. The program has three major training components: outpatient placements, inpatient placements, and core seminars. A minimum of four hours of primary and clinical supervision is provided weekly; with a minimum of 25% direct face-to-face client contact across these components. Specific placements are determined after negotiations with individual Interns, their primary supervisors and the program director. These negotiations take into account training program objectives, Interns' preferences, Interns' training needs, and existing commitments between the program and placement sites. A typical Intern weekly schedule (5 Day) consists of spending 2 days per week in an outpatient setting, 2 days per week in an inpatient setting and 1 day per week at CMTP (individual supervision, core didactics, support). This placement schedule will be maintained for the (12) month training period.
